Gina Caprara

Dr. Gina Caprara is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in Austin, Texas and moved to Colorado in 2009 to complete her undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Her heart was set on becoming a nurse practitioner at an early age. After caring for patients on a hospital medical-oncology unit for several years as an RN, she then continued her education at Frontier Nursing University where she received both her Master of Science Nurse Practitioner degree in 2017 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2019.

Gina’s practice approach is proactive, holistic, and personalized. She enjoys building genuine and collaborative relationships with her patients. She strives to uncover the root cause(s) of her patients’ ailments before customizing an individualized plan to address their unique needs. She utilizes the best of well-known medical therapies, nutrition, exercise, mindset training, lifestyle adjustments, as well as a variety of complementary and alternative healing methods where appropriate. She is trained in Dry Needling/Western Acupuncture and enjoys providing this service to her patients. She aims to empower her patients to take ownership of their health and live their best life!

She loves being a mother to a fun-loving boy and two energetic dogs. She spends her free time with her family and friends, baking, traveling, and running long distances.
