Randall L. Snook, MD
Internal Medicine

Dr. Snook is a native of Colorado who grew up in the small town of Alamosa in Southern Colorado. He attended Colorado State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and Biology in 1983. After a year of graduate school in Neuroscience at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, he entered and graduated with his M.D. in 1990 from the University of Texas system. His internship was at University of Missouri, Columbia, and finished his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of New Mexico where he also finished a Fellowship in Gerontology in 1995. He has practiced medicine in the Denver area since then.

Dr. Snook's special interests include diet and exercise and their critical role in overall health as well as Sports Medicine for the active patient. He also specializes in cholesterol management, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma and other lung problems, cardiology and Dermatologic diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Snook is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Gerontology. He also has certification in the use of acupuncture for pain management.

Dr. Snook is married and has three children. He enjoys time with his family, exercising, camping, playing golf and working around the home. He is an avid skier and previous ski instructor at Wolf Creek Ski Area in Southern Colorado and enjoys all sports.

Dennis L. Furr, D.O.
Family Practice

Dennis Furr was born and raised in Southern California. He lived in Cardiff, California and later moved to Riverside where he attended Loma Linda University. He majored in Psychology and Biology and graduated with a BA degree. Dennis went on to Kansas City, MO where he attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and graduated from medical school after moving to Denver. Dr. Furr is board certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Furr has practiced medicine in Southeast Denver for over 20 years. His interests are not limited but include nutrition, sports medicine and lipid management. He enjoys adolescent medicine as well. His other interests include involvement with medical mission work here and abroad.

Dr. Furr is married and has two daughters. His family life keeps him quite busy and he enjoys activities in the mountains or on the beach when time allows. He enjoys jogging and has finished first place in numerous jogging events. These are when jogging alone however!

 

Dina Elias, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Dina Elias is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with adults in medical and private practice settings. She earned her Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Denver and has provided clinical services at National Jewish Hospital, Kaiser, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and East-West Health Center. She has also taught and supervised at the University of Colorado-Denver.

Dr. Elias specializes in health psychology to improve quality of life by addressing the functioning of the mind and body, stress management to increase resiliency in the face of life situations, and individual counseling to clarify and address personal issues.

Dr. Elias grew up in Kansas and has lived in Colorado for over 20 years. She enjoys taking advantage of the proximity to the mountains and participating in outdoor activities with her husband and son.

 

Jennifer Kjar Hepp, D.O.
Family Medicine

Dr. Hepp is originally from Lexington, NE where she attended an old-fashioned 2 room school house. This small-town perspective has shaped her despite growing up in metro Denver. She grew up in Jefferson County, graduating from Bear Creek High School.

Dr. Hepp attended Northeast Missouri State University and received a BS in Biology with a minor in Child Development. While in Kirksville she was introduced to the world of Osteopathic Medicine for the first time and after graduation from NMSU she moved across town to attend Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated in 1997 and was married the same week to her husband John.

Dr. Hepp returned to the Denver area for Internship in Family Medicine, beginning at Aurora Presbyterian Hospital and then heading to Colorado Springs for Residency at the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation. After 2 years of commuting to the Springs, she happily settled down in what is now Centennial.

Dr. Hepp has been practicing in southeast Denver for over 8 years. She enjoys treating the entire family and the preventative care aspects that allows. She has special interests in women's medicine and adolescent care and performs Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) to address bony, muscular, and tissue alignment to assist in the self healing properties of the body.

 

Jodie Gahn, PA-C
Family Medicine

Mrs. Gahn has more than 20 years of health care experience in various patient care settings. Her background includes both military and civilian service. She began her career in 1990 as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman where she treated Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families at Camp Pendleton, CA and Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA. In 1994, she separated from active duty and continued her military career in the US Naval Reserves supporting Fleet Hospital 23, Field Medical Unit as a combat medical technician until she completed her obligation in 2000.

Mrs. Gahn grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergraduate training in 1995. While pursuing her degree, she worked as a multi-specialty medical assistant at Dean Medical Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Her physician assistant training was completed in 2000 at Des Moines University - Osteopathic Medical School and Health Sciences.Since then, she has been dedicated to providing quality and cost-effective health care in the Denver metro area. Formerly with Ranch View Family Medicine, her outpatient medical practice spans the pediatric through geriatric population inclusive of preventative medicine, disease management and urgent care.

In her personal time, she enjoys spending time traveling with friends, gardening, volunteering for Hobocare Boxer Rescue - inspired by her two Boxers, Kylie and Ulrich "Uli", as well as being a contributing member of The Wounded Warrior Project in honor of her late husband Phillip Gahn.

 

Katie Young, PA-C, MS
Physician Assistant - Certified, Master of Science

Katie Young has been a Physician Assistant for over a decade with experience in dermatology, pediatrics, and integrative medicine. She grew up in Washington D.C and Pennsylvania and later moved to California for undergraduate work at Westmont College where she studied Pre-Med and Piano Performance. She then returned to Colorado and attended the University of Colorado Health Science Center's Child Health Associate Physician Assistant Program where she received her Master of Science and Physician Assistant degrees.

After graduating and working in Dermatology and Pediatrics for several years, she became interested in integrative medicine and alternative therapies for healing. Katie became certified in acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain and enjoys offering this therapy to her patients. Katie is also one of the few providers in Colorado to have completed extensive bio-identical certification through World Link Medical and has a loyal and satisfied patient following throughout Colorado and abroad.

Katie believes that patients should know their wide variety of options and enjoys "putting it all together" with them to develop their individualized medical care plan to achieve balanced health.

Katie is also a mother of two growing girls and enjoys spending time with her husband and family, who keep her life full of adventure. Some of these adventures include soap making, hiking, chalk painting and, of course, playing the piano.

 

Beth R. Teeters, MA, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Beth is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over twenty years of experience as a mental health provider. She earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado in Boulder and her MA in Psychology from the University of Colorado in Denver. She has training and licensure in both marriage & family therapy and school psychology.

Beth specializes in individual, couples and child/adolescent therapy. Her philosophy is holistic, collaborative and client centered. Specialty areas include family systems, relationship support, anxiety & mood concerns with individuals through the lifespan. Her therapeutic direction is grounded in a systemic, relational, strength based approach.

Beth is married and has three adult children. In her personal time, she enjoys biking, reading, skiing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

 

Chris Blenker, Aesthetician

Chris Blenker graduated from Colorado School of Paramedical Esthetics; her background includes over 20 years in the medical field where she worked as a Medical Assistant for Orthopedic surgeons. She transferred to Dermatology in 2002 at which time she completed her esthetic training and worked with the physicians to establish a busy Medspa practice. She has received extensive training and is certified with Lasers, IPL treatments, Photodynamic Therapy, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels and is very well trained in multiple medical grade product lines. She continues to expand her knowledge and investigate new products and procedures in order to help her patients stay up to date on treatments that are constantly evolving. Her primary focus is working with Men and Women and Teens to help them achieve their very best look and feel confident about themselves. She is very passionate about teaching patients how to care for their skin and protect it from the intense Colorado sun by using great products and nutrition. She enjoys meeting with new patients and offers free consultations to help each of them achieve their very best look. Treatments include IPL treatments as well as Photodynamic therapy to help diminish past sun damage, Permanent Hair Reduction, Diamond Tome exfoliation and Medical grade facials and peels.

Chris is a Colorado native and loves spending time with her husband of 31 years as well as their 3 grown children and their families. In her personal time she is usually found playing with her 3 beautiful granddaughters, she also enjoys camping (usually on a beach somewhere), traveling, gardening, waterskiing, and hiking.

 

Scott McDoniel, PhD, FACN, FTOS

Dr. Scott McDoniel is a behavioral nutrition specialist with a primary focus in obesity management and functional nutrition. He provides a comprehensive model for treating patients with excess weight including addressing the biological, environmental, and psychological issues leading to weight gain and/or preventing weight loss. Dr. Scott is comprehensively trained in health psychology, exercise science, and nutrition. He holds a Doctorate degree in Psychology and a Master's of Science in Exercise Physiology. He is board certified in Exercise Physiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition and The Obesity Society.

In addition, to patient care, Dr. Scott is an international expert on energy metabolism. He worked for a small biotechnology company assisting in the development and launch of a novel device that measures metabolism. During this time, he conducted numerous clinical research studies and presented at international medical conferences on the science of energy metabolism in clinical weight management. He was influential in NBC's The Biggest Loser implementation of metabolic assessment with their contestants. While working for this company he developed a clinical weight loss program that was designed to be implemented into physician practices. He spent three years expanding this program to physician practices across the United States. In 2010, missing direct patient care, he returned to private practice to better serve patients.

Dr. Scott maintains his research interest by serving as an assistant professor with Walden University's College of Health Sciences. He is an active mentor for doctoral students obtaining their terminal degrees in public health with a focus towards obesity research. Outside of practice and mentoring, he is very active in youth sports. He is a youth and high school wrestling coach. He serves as an assistant wrestling coach for Mountain Vista High School and head coach for the Golden Eagle Wrestling Club. He enjoys running, functional training, and still manages to compete in wrestling tournaments. So, don't be alarmed if you see him with bruises and scrapes.

Dr. Scott resides in Highlands Ranch with his wife, Debbie, and two sons, Jackson & Henry.

 

Shannon Goritz, RN, Medical Aesthetician and Specialized Injector

Shannon Goritz is originally from Calgary Alberta Canada. She began her career as a Registered Nurse 20 years ago working in variety of therapeutic areas. Shannon specialized as a Cosmetic Nurse Injector and Laser specialist while working along side a prominent Dermatologist back in 2007.

Shannon provided education and training to many physicians and Nurses on various injection techniques using Radiesse. She was also a certified trainer for Cutera lasers.

As a Advanced Nurse Injector and skin care specialist, Shannon will work one on one with you and analyze your particular skin care concerns which may include loss of volume and deep lines, or deteriation of your skin quality. Shannon will formulate a comprehensive plan tailored to your individual needs. Shannon understands the importance of achieving natural looking results and continuously educates herself on the latest technology. Gail Dubas, RN, BS, Medical Aesthetician and Specialized Injector

Gail Dubas is an aesthetic nurse specialist and paramedical aesthetician who has practiced in the cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery environment for the past 14 years. She specializes in injection, laser, chemical peels, medical facials, and microdermabrasion. Gail's diverse nursing background includes critical care, cardiology and clinical consulting for medical device manufacturers. She is originally from East Peoria, IL and came out West to enjoy the many recreational activities here. When she is spending time in town with her family and 2 Yorkies, she enjoys papercrafting, cooking, travelling and growing heirloom vegetables from seeds.
