New Practitioner

Advanced Integrative Medicine would love to introduce Teresa Heisser, FNP-C, MSN. Teresa Heisser is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in integrative medicine and a passion for treating endocrine and hormonal disorders. She has more than 15 years of experience in various patient care settings. Originally from Hawaii, Teresa received her first bachelor's degree from San Diego State University in Sports Medicine. Teresa then moved to Colorado in 1989 to attend the physical therapy program at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Teresa began her medical career in 1991 as a physical therapist. Teresa's desire to provide additional care for her patients prompted her to return to school to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner. Teresa received both her BSN/RN and subsequent MSN/FNP at Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Program Description

This program is an interactive group instruction about your diabetes. During this group visit we will instruct on many topics including the diabetes disease process, nutritional management, physical activity, medications, monitoring, prevention and treatment of acute complications ... to name a few.

To make the most of this group, please have your quaterly diabetes labs drawn prior to the meeting so your current results are available for discussion, and also bring in your glucose check numbers from home.

This group will be run by Randall Snook, MD.

This will be considered an office visit. You will have your vitals taken, your labs will be reviewed and may even get refills. So a copay will be charged for this and your insurance will be billed for the provider's time.

Extended Office Hours

We are extending our hours with a new D.O. his name is David Kanze. He is from Rocky Vista Health Center and he is Board Certified Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and Board Certified Neuromuscular Medicine. He will be available by appointment on Wednesday nights from 6pm to 8pm and every other Saturday for manipulation from 8am to 2pm. Please call now for your appointment!

Meet and Greet for Women

We will be offering a Meet and Greet for all women who are seeing signs for any hormonal imbalances. We have an expert at our office, who specializes in this condition. We will be offering these meetings starting September 21st.
